Cola Solar work with you from design to installation. We develop an affordable renewable energy plan that best suits your budget and energy needs. Cola Solar only use a Clean Energy Council accredited electrician for the installation of your solar product. When fitting your air conditioning and hot water units, be assured our plumbers are authorised by the Australian Refrigeration Council.
Note that Cola Solar chooses not to offer hot water solutions requiring heavy and unsightly tanks on your roof. All installations have ground-installed external tanks. Removal of existing systems is always included in our service.

Apricus Evacuated Tubes Solar Hot Water
The Apricus solar collector is an extremely efficient thermal solar system. The secret is the combination of the innovative technology of the Apricus solar collectors, and the use of evacuated tubes combined with heat pipes & glass-wool insulation. All this makes the system environmentally friendly, maintenance free, frost resistant, and now, also very affordable.
The evacuated tubes are up to 50% more efficient than flat panels in summer, and up to 150% more efficient in winter.
Where natural gas or LPG are available, an instantaneous gas booster provides extra temperature to the water. This only happens on the rare occasions that the sun hasn't done that for free.
For areas without access to gas, the Apricus electrically boosted solar system is an extremely efficient choice. Here's how it works. The solar collector does most of the work and heats the water in the storage tank. Only when necessary, does the electric booster heat water to the required temperature, This reduces electricity consumption and saves you money.
